Custom Riding Lawn Mower Hitch Fabrication

For this project, we fabricated a custom hitch to expand the client’s ability to tow small trailers and yard equipment with their riding lawn mower. The factory mower had no attachment point, and the client needed a strong, versatile setup for hauling tools, garden carts, and light-duty implements around their property.

We began by designing a hitch bracket that fits the mower’s frame without interfering with its operation or maneuverability. Using heavy-gauge steel plate and tubing, we built a reinforced mounting assembly that distributes towing forces safely across the mower’s rear frame. The hitch features a standard-sized receiver tube, allowing the client to use various attachments and accessories.

All components were precision-cut, fully welded for maximum durability, and finished with a weather-resistant coating to withstand moisture and outdoor use. After installation, the hitch provided a clean, factory-quality appearance while offering significantly improved towing capability.

This project showcases our ability to create practical, custom-fitted solutions that enhance equipment functionality and make everyday yard work easier and more efficient.
